A164 Night Closures

The A164 will be closed on Tuesday 14 May and Wednesday 15 May between 7pm and 5am from Skidby roundabout to Jock’s Lodge junction. The closure is necessary for a Northern Power Grid overhead cable diversion. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation on the A164 between 7pm and 5am on weekdays to enable works to be carried out safely until the scheme is complete. New precept agreed

Following careful consideration the Parish Council has agreed to increase the precept to £74.32 per year for a Band D equivalent property. This equates to an increase of £14.17 per year or 27p per week. The Parish Council recognises that increases are never welcome, but costs continue to rise and the Council also wishes to invest in new play equipment and set aside funding to contribute to flood alleviation measures.
