The Playing Fields on Manor Garth are leased to the Parish Council from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and provide a large grassed area, with a small playground and a pavilion containing changing rooms, toilets and a small kitchen. The Playing Fields are available for informal games and activities but are also home to the Bransholme and Kingswood Cricket Club and Cottingham AFC. The Playing Fields can also be hired on an ad hoc basis and details can be obtained from the Clerk.
The Council has recently planted a small copse of trees in the north west corner of the Playing Fields and has plans to upgrade the Playground subject to funding being obtained.
